If I was to ask you what are your dreams, your goals, your aspirations, what would your answer be? Are you satisfied with exactly where you are? Are you comfortable in the position you are in at the moment? In other words, are you completely satisfied with where you are in your life that you can afford to put yourself in cruise control?

Well I challenge you to strive for something better by not getting complacent and resting on your laurels of past success that you limit yourself from the ability to accomplish new things within your personal and professional life.

The trick to getting better all the time is to start small. Pick a few things that you can focus on immediately that are a high, accomplishable priority and work towards getting those things done first and then set your sights on more challenging things.

As you start to work off one item at a time toward your goal you will build the competence and the confidence to continue towards bigger and better things, ultimately leading you to a much wider/broader range of success.

“You should aspire to get better all the time”

If you want to make a big impact on something you should start small and work you way up by getting better all the time.

Taking small steps along the way will allow for you to make huge strides over time.  As long as you focus with the end result in mind and make improvements all the time you can build future success in small doses.

The thing to keep in mind is that you are not going to immediately get the results you want.  If you want to make a difference you have to work at it.  This makes discipline and the determination to go the distance regardless of circumstances, situation, or obstacles along the way paramount to your success.

As you are on your journey make small, realistic goals and as you achieve them, make sure you reward yourself.  But, whatever you do don’t quit, give up, or slack off because of progress.  You should remain vigilant and ready at all times.

If you do this, you will soon find that you are better off than you were before by making continuous, physical, conscious efforts that will lead to the results you set out to achieve.
