“Don’t let your FEELINGS control your actions”

Do you often feel completely drained with absolutely no energy to do the things you know you must do? Do you often feel you are “down” or have “the blues”? Is emotional stress causing you physical stress? Do you feel disconnected mentally?

If you have answered YES to these questions it is time for you to make a change for the better. The first thing you need to know is that “YOU” control your actions. I understand that we are in a fast paced society in which we cannot afford to slow down but you have to take time to take care of yourself before you no longer have the ability to do so. I challenge you to make a difference by controlling your actions instead of letting them control you, and ultimately your FEELINGS.

Below are some “life-saving” tips that will add “Daily Fuel” to your mind, body, and spirit and allow you to be the best you can be.

* Slow down and understand that life is not a race
* Exercise your mind daily by reading motivational material
* Exercise your body daily by going to the gym, going on a run, or any physical activity that raises your heart rate
* Plan your work, and work your plan by being organized, effecient, and timely
* Take time for others needs by offering your help and advice
* Take time to pray and spend quality time with God
* Call an old friend and rekindle old memories
* Volunteer your time to a worthy cause
* Go to a sporting event
* Do something that you randomly/normally would not do
* Drink water instead of sodas, energy drinks, and coffee
* Cut back on the supplements
* Get plenty of sleep
* Learn to let things go that you would normally get hyped about (Pick your battles)
